What should a written epoxy flooring quote include?
A useful quote normally identifies the measured area, preparation method, repair and joint treatment, moisture-testing approach, coating products or system layers, finish, schedule, written warranty terms, exclusions, total price, and payment schedule.
Why does surface preparation matter when comparing quotes?
Coating performance depends heavily on the concrete profile and condition. Grinding, coating removal, crack repair, and moisture work can materially change labor, equipment, and material requirements, so two quotes may not describe the same scope.
Is a large deposit automatically a problem?
