How much epoxy do I need per square foot?
There is no reliable universal amount. Required material depends on the product's stated coverage, film thickness, solids, substrate profile, porosity, application method, and number of coats. Enter the coverage from each product's current technical data sheet instead of relying on a generic rate.
Does this calculator split Part A and Part B quantities?
No. Coating results represent total mixed material. Use the manufacturer's mix ratio and packaged kit sizes to confirm the correct quantities of resin, hardener, and any other components. Do not divide components by guesswork.
How much decorative flake should I order?
Broadcast rates vary from light partial coverage to full rejection. Enter the rate required by the specified system and add an appropriate allowance for waste and recovery conditions. Confirm the rate and compatible topcoat build with the system manufacturer.
Why does the calculator round material up?
Coatings are purchased in complete kits or containers. The calculator divides the planned requirement by the editable package size and rounds up to the next whole package. This is a purchasing aid, not a guarantee that a particular package configuration is available.
